The Sonny Balcones are a Toronto jazz band who play familiar and rare jazz tunes with their own unique style. Their vintage feel is both quirky and romantic.
The band was formed in 2016 by guitarist/singer Tony Neale and singer Corry Ouellette, following their work together in The Sandy Pockets and
The Julee Cruise Ships.
At their live shows you will hear tunes that harken to old time swing and french jazz..
Follow that up with sultry Julie London and Barney Kessel, heartbreaking Chet Baker, and top it off with some bossanova just for fun.
